The photograph files are arranged alphabetically by subject.
The images include formal portraits and candid images of Loewy, Jean Thompson Loewy (his first wife), Viola Erickson Loewy (his second wife), Laurence Loewy (his daughter), as well as his personal automobiles and boats. There are also photographs of his homes in the United States, France, and Mexico. Especially noteworthy are the photographs of "Tierra Caliente," Loewy's Palm Springs home, that were taken by Julius Shulman.
