BELIN HOUSE RESTAURANT

Hagley's Belin House Restaurant is located on Workers' Hill. This restored community depicts the home lives of the DuPont Company mill workers and their families. Once home to several generations of company bookkeepers, today the Belin House provides a panoramic view for visitors to enjoy while dining. Visitors may enjoy selections from the menu daily from mid-March through November and on weekends in December. If you don't have time for a full museum visit, you can still dine at the Belin House Restaurant without paying museum admission. Come to Hagley's Visitor Center off the Route 141 main entrance and ask for a Belin House Guest Pass. You can then take the bus from the Visitor Center directly to the Belin House.

The menu offers a wide selection of soups, salads, sandwiches, and specialties including the Hagley Burger (Boursin cheese and sauteed mushrooms) and the Hagley Choice (a sampler of chicken salad, tuna salad, and fresh pasta salad served on a bed of fresh greens with a croissant).

The Belin House offers traditional desserts along with special old-fashioned homemade desserts -- be sure to ask your host about the day's special offerings.
