Using Library Resources
Hagley's research collections are open to the public. First-time users must obtain a research card in order to use the collections. You may obtain a registration form at the reference desk in the main library building or in the Soda House. Please bring picture identification and review our reading room policies prior to your visit. For information about our research materials visit our collections page.

Where are we located?
The Hagley Library is located off Route 100 and Buck Road in Greenville, Delaware approximately 4 miles from downtown Wilmington (directions and map).
The Manuscripts and Archives department is located at the Soda House. The Pictorial Collections and Imprints Departments can be found in the Library Building. You will find signs for both buildings when you arrive on the property.

Library hours
The library is open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and the second Saturday of the month from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Though appointments are not necessary, we encourage researchers to contact us before visiting so we are better able to assist you. Services for off-site researchers
Hagley staff offers limited research service for those who are unable to visit the library. This service is available for requests that require a minimal amount of research. We also offer a reproduction services for a fee.
